News from Papou!

This website has been visited      times since January 24, 2005.

February 10, 2005        Joyce Kremer from Minnesota  has been working long hours to help me put up this website. Almost every day since    

                                          the last 2 to 3 weeks, Joyce has been setting up pages, making some recommendations to me as to how to link the pages,

                                          designing the buttons, etc.  As for me, I have been uploading my hosta pictures as soon as Joyce would inform me that a page is ready. The website 

                                          can be seen by the public since Februay 9, 2005....and Joyce and I are still finalizing certain matters. I am in the process of uploading more hosta photos.

                                          Thank you Joyce!  I will forever be indebted to you...and rest assure of my continuous friendship.

November 11, 2005      The 14 maps locating 185 hostaholics have been added under MAP Hostaholics.

June 14-17, 2006          I attended the AHS Convention in King of Prussia, PA. This was my first experience and I enjoyed every moment of it. The Cut-Leaf Exhibit was fantastik, and                                                     the visit to 5 gardens was spectacular. Have a look at the numerous pics shown herein.

August 10, 2006         Over 300 pics of individual hostas being part of Papou's collection,  and also taken from my various gardens during 2006, were added to this website.

January 29, 2007        The hosta Index has been restructured and now consists of 50 pages instead of 26. The additional pages will enable you to navigate faster when                                                                      looking at individual hostas. Click here to start at the beginning of the hosta alphabet.

March 7, 2007              I have added my new Hosta Database Project 2007 that provides much info on the 557 different hosta varieties in my collection.

 August 6, 2007         I added about 60 pics taken during 2007 showing group hostas in Garden 1, 1A, 2, 2B, 2C, 3, 4, 6A, 6B, and 6C.

August 17, 2007         You can now look at a leaf closeup of  my individual hostas.  Over 265 pics added so far...taken during 2007....process is ongoing...

August 17, 2007         Approximately 300 pics taken during 2007 of my individual hosta varieties were added to the website.
