Distinct hostas and the 10-foot rule 

 In one of his conferences, Bob Solberg mentioned that out of the 5000 registered and non-registered hostas on the market, only between 450 and 500 hostas were distinct hostas meaning that this limited number fits within the 10-foot rule. In a survey on Garden Web, I have obtained the names of 462 hostas which various hostalovers have maintained that they were distinct...or unique.
